The happiest place on earth!

Riiiiight before it started pouring. It was pretty for a second, until we got soaked!

The happiest place on earth, yesterday, also the rainiest place too. :) We spent the day at Disneyworld and it was SO much fun.

Trey - yesterday we went to  Disneyworld. when we got there it was hot and humid.The first thing we did was tommorowland. We went on the space mountian. At first I was thinking that since it was a rollarcoaster that it would be huge and I wouldn't won't to go on it. But i did and it was so much fun. One thing that i liked about it was that you could,nt see what would happen next so we would down ,to the side than to the other side in a matter of seconds. Than we want to a whole rest of the park. I loved going there and would love to go there again. now we might still go to universal studies ,but it's pouring right now.

Amber - All of the rides were amazing! We got to get pictures taken with Stitch & Chip & Dale...and we saw Tigger, Pooh, Ariel, Eric, Mary Poppins, Snow White & Prince Charming. We saw Mikey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Peter Pan, & the princesses & princes do a show. AND I got to dance with Pinocchio! :) My favorite rides were Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, and Thunder Mountain. Trey & Rach didn't want to go on Splash Mountain so I guess I'll have to wait until next year (hopefully)!!!

We're off now to Universal Studios - Islands of Adventure. HOPEFULLY it will stop storming!!

So, Trey enjoyed the plane ride, minus the take off & landing. He was incredibly surprised, but played it pretty cool. After I asked him if he wanted to go to Disneyworld, he asked if he could eat breakfast first. Nice... I'm not sure he believed me b/c he asked, do we really get to go? The plane ride was nice and when we got into Orlando...another surprise; Rachel met us at the airport to spend the week with us too (Sorry Jess!)

We spent today checking out the hotel, shopping, eating dinner at the hotel sports bar, and then spending the rest of the night at the (heated) hotel pool. We jumped into the regular pool & went down the waterslide a couple of times, but spent most of the time in the warm water. We had fun with my underwater camera and hope to post some of the videos from today, soon, if possible.

We're ready for an exciting, albeit long, day tomorrow at Disneyworld and we're all looking forward to it. We'll all post tomorrow about what we did. :) Can't wait!!



I CAN'T WAIT!!

Hey friends...

T-15 hours until the plane leaves!! :) I'm so excited, I can hardly contain myself. Pretty sure I won't sleep tonight. I'm hoping to catch a video of Trey when he gets to the airport and I tell him we're going to Disney World. If I catch it, I'll try to get it posted on here for you all to watch.

I'm still working on getting all packed for the trip, I've been sick the last couple of weeks so I'm WAY behind on my laundry...woops!!

Paitently waiting...for March 29th

So, friends, I have a surprise coming up soon for my nephew. Note the word "surprise", please!! I figure now that Trey is finally 12, and I don't have any kids myself, why not treat him to a vacation that he'll remember forever, right?!

On March 29th, with the help of his mom, I'm going to surprise Trey. Jessi is going to tell him that she's letting him stay home from school and that the two of them are going to Breakfast. I'll have picked up his packed suitcase the night before and I'll be waiting at the airport to surprise him, where we'll board an Allegiant flight headed straight for the warm, sunny, wonderful Orlando, Florida to spend 6 days together. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he figures out what's going on! Little does he know that we're about to go to Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Hollywood Studios, & more!!

I'm making this blog so those of you back home (and beyond) can follow along. We'll post pictures and videos so that you can spend some time with us, and comment, while we're vacationing!

Please buckle your saftey belts, put your tray tables in an upright position, and keep your hands inside the ride until we come to a complete stop. Here we go!! :)
